Mondays are good days around the blog, and today is expecially good! I’d never had the chance to take on children photography. I had generally steered away from it all together and kept more to couples and weddings. It definitely takes a special kind of person to specialize in children photography. Up until now I was most certain I was not one of those people and it was not my thing. However, this might have been the turning point. While I’m not jumping the wedding ship and going to start taking pictures of only cute kids, I think this might be a new avenue to start dabbling in.Meet Teo: and his parents, Mike and Lisa. Teo is a smart, funny, and generally all around awesome dude. He likes animals, which made taking him to a farm an ideal situation for both himself and us. For my first experience being a children photographer, Teo made it wayyy too easy on us. His reward for doing things we asked him to was that he could go see the cows. I think that’s a great incentive. :) Yes?
Finally got to see the cows!
Not exactly sure what was going on here, but I can think of a few good captions.
When you ask Teo for a big smile, this is what you get.
With a little help from Mom, Teo braved new heights!
Can you say handsome? Ohhh yes.
Such an awesome family!
Getting Teo to smile was not always easy, but it served up some awesome faces.
Aww. I’m smiling. :)
We’ve only just begun! Join us back here for Part Two tomorrow; it gets even better.
